There are mysteries that the natural mind can not grasp the whole details but the efficacy of the power inside it is manifest for all to see. It may appear intangible but the effect can not be denied
1. The Holy communion is a kingdom toast for health, strenght and longevity. We can see this in 1 Corinthians 11 verse 29 and 30
29 For he who eats and drinks [a]in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the [b]Lord’s body. 30 For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many [c]sleep.
It is to bring about health, vitality and longevity. If you know what this table carries, sickness, disease and death can never carry you (can not more shake you around as a reed upon the water).
2. It empowers us to live like Christ Jesus, spirit, soul and body. In John 6 verse 57/53-54, this is clearly shown to us;
57 As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me.
53 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day
The order of life you have will determine the kind of experience you will have. There is Eternal life, human life, animal life and plant life. Each life differs from another, so also are the experiences. Leviticus 17:11 says that
11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.
As you partake of the communion, see it as life.
3. It's made up of the flesh of Christ and the blood of Christ.
What is in the Communion Table (The Flesh and the Blood of Jesus Christ)
First, let us look at what is the flesh of Jesus Christ.
What is in the FLesh
1. The bread which represent the flesh of Jesus Christ can be liken to the rod of God that swallow the rod of the magician - Exodus 7 verse 12
12 For every man threw down his rod, and they became serpents. But Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.
Jesus is the rod of God to put an end to the rod of the magicians. Isaaih 11 verse 1
Isaiah 11:1 There shall come forth a a]">[a]Rod from the b]">[b]stem of Jesse,
And a Branch shall c]">[c]grow out of his roots.
2. The flesh represent the miracle meal that neutralises every poison in our body 2 Kings 4:39-41
39 So one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered from it a lapful of wild gourds, and came and sliced them into the pot of stew, though they did not know what they were. 40 Then they served it to the men to eat. Now it happened, as they were eating the stew, that they cried out and said, “Man of God, there is death in the pot!” And they could not eat it.
41 So he said, “Then bring some flour.” And he put it into the pot, and said, “Serve it to the people, that they may eat.” And there was nothing harmful in the pot.
3. It's our new testament manna that destroy all forms of weakness and feebleness John 6:58 Psalms 105:37, Deuteronomy 8:4 (No more weakness, no more discomfort)
John 6:58 This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”
Let's see how they fare in the wilderness
Psalms 105:37 He also brought them out with silver and gold,
And there was none feeble among His tribes.
Deuteronomy 8:4 Your garments did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years.
4. It also brings the eye opening miracle - Luke 24:30-31/16
30 Now it came to pass, as He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. 31 Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him; and He vanished from their sight.
16 But their eyes were restrained, so that they did not know Him.
Verse 16 made us to understand that their eyes were restrained but when Jesus broke the bread which represent His flesh, then their eyes were opened. Whatever happen spiritually affeacts you physically. When your eyes open spiritually, it affect your physical eyes too.
What is in the Blood of Jesus?
1. The blood carries the nature of Christ that is immune to sickness John 6:54 and Leviticus 17:11
John 6: 54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.
11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.
2. We share the same blood group with Christ as we partake of the communion John 6:54 -- By redemption, you now belogn to the family of God, the highest in all of the Universe.
54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.
3. The blood of Jesus is likened to white blood corpuscle. It carry the defence mechanism. It's stainless and Jesus is the stainless lamb of God. The blood of Jesus becomes the soldier of the body to fight whatever is figthing me and you - John 14:30
John 14:30 I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.
No fault or sin was found in the Lord Jesus Christ.
I believe as you study this and understand it, then it begins to produce result for you.
